Kuchar used his RIFE Barbados Putter to shoot a 5 under par round of 65 on Sunday and force a sudden death playoff. On the first hole of the playoff, Kuchar stuck his approach shot to the green less than 3 feet from the pin and confidently rolled in his birdie putt to capture victory in the 1st Round of the Fed Ex Cup Playoffs. This was Matt’s first victory of the 2010 season and his 10th Top Ten Finish of the year. The win earned him a paycheck of $1,350,000.00 and 2500 FedEx Cup points giving him the lead on the Fed Ex Cup Points List with 3,937 as he heads into this weeks event, the Deutsche Bank Championship. This, his third career win on the PGA Tour, is likely to move him up to a career-best No. 10 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
