COLUMBUS, Ga., August, 24, 2010 — Roy Nix, Executive Director of the Association of Golf Clubfitting Professionals (AGCP), the world leader in the advancement of custom clubfitting and clubmaking, is pleased to announce that FlightScope and SwingView Pro will be combining their exhibit around an indoor hitting studio provided by ACCP Master of Club Technology, Russ Ryden, owner of Fit2Score LLC. This year’s Roundtable Education Convention will be held Wednesday, September 29th through Saturday, October 2nd and features Tom Wishon as the Keynote speaker.
FlightScope® and SwingView Pro will be showcasing integration of their golf products at the AGCP Annual Round Table 5 meeting in Columbus GA. FlightScope® recently introduced FlightScope® Prime, the first-ever wireless 3D Doppler Tracking Device for Golf. It was named Best New Product at the PGA 2010 Fall Expo in Las Vegas. Swing Technologies’ SwingView Pro provides the latest technology in video swing analysis software for golf. The integrated system lets the golf fitter or teacher view the FlightScope® swing data while watching the linked swing video.
FlightScope’s new software v5.9, releasing in October 2010, will be used in an indoor hitting studio provided by ACCP Master of Club Technology, Russ Ryden, owner of Fit2Score LLC. FlightScope version 5.9 adds a player bio page, direct e-mailing of reports to the golfer and a 3D animation of the club delivery.
The integration of these two golf systems has been in development over the past year. SwingView Pro is a leader in integration of the Casio Exilim line of high speed video cameras into its golf motion capture program. It is capable of supporting up to 26 simultaneous video capture cameras and simultaneously displaying the golf swing from each point of view. SwingView will demonstrate both high end and more affordable video capture and motion analysis systems.
This year will also be the first year that PGA MSR points will be awarded for successful completion of the class schedule by PGA members. 12 MSR points have been pre-approved by the PGA American.
The event this year will also have General Admission Passes for those who do not wish to attend the classes and only want to enter the exhibit floor to see all of the sponsor’s exhibits. Those who can’t make all 3 days of classes will also have the option using the General admission pass to purchase classes at the door for any class they might decide to attend.
