TORONTO – Canada-based Second Skin Garment Company has named Alday Communications, Inc. (ACI) as its public relations firm as the company seeks to expand its Hollas and Second Skin brands into the United States golf market, announced Don Nichols, founder of Hollas and partner of Second Skin Garment Company.
The Second Skin brand dominates the Canadian golf outwear market while Hollas is a leading men’s golf apparel collection. The company’s collections are worn on the PGA TOUR by Rory Sabbatini, Jon Mills, Dean Wilson, David Hearn and Bryce Molder.
“We have two very strong product lines that we believe translate well into the U.S. market,” said Nichols. “With the help of Alday Communications, we look forward to building awareness of our collections as we focus on placement in resorts and country clubs.”
ACI, based outside of Nashville, Tenn., is firmly entrenched in the golf market. Its current clients include The PGA of America’s Play Golf America program, Folds of Honor Foundation and Val Skinner’s annual LIFE LPGA pro-am event.
“Our firm is experienced both inside and outside of the golf segment, giving us a unique perspective,” said Mike Alday, president. “We look forward to developing and implementing grassroots communications programs targeting those making the purchasing decisions for on-course golf shops as well as golf consumers.”
