SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. …Golf Pride® today announced a USA vs. Europe Rivalry voting competition to be hosted at www.gprivalry.com/ in celebration of the new V-RAD Rivalry Putter Grip line. The side that receives the most votes in the competition, which asks fans to ‘choose their side’ and select either Europe or the USA, will be granted a $1000 donation from Golf Pride towards a youth organization in golf. The USA’s junior golf organization will be the First Tee of the Sandhills in North Carolina, while the UK will be competing for Golf Foundation UK.
The new V-RAD Rivalry putter grips capture the intensity of the United States versus Europe golf competition. The new designs are in the style of the American and European flags, and allow golfers to show off their sense of national pride.
The V-RAD Rivalry grips feature a new smaller shape and lighter weight preferred by TOUR professionals. Made with Advanced Composite Rubber, the V-RAD Rivalry grips have a new texture and tackiness for enhanced feel and durability.
“With the new V-RAD Rivalry grips and our online voting competition, Golf Pride is giving fans a way to be a part of golf’s biggest and oldest rivalry,” said Dan Koehler, director of global sales and marketing for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division. “We believe in supporting youth golf and are excited to be able to give fans a chance to decide how Golf Pride supports this cause.”
