Today Science and Motion Sports, Gmbh of Germany announced their new SAM PuttLab Instructor Certification programs.
Speaking from, Sweden Science and Motion Sports National Sales Manager Jef Carr said, “We have been working on our curriculum for the past six months to develop a new approach to putting, putting analysis, instruction and putter fitting. The depth of our new 2010 SAM software has shown us all at SAM the need for proper training and accreditation for SAM users as well as for those who see putting as the cornerstone of the game of golf.”
Science and Motion will begin by offering the SAM Technical Training Workshop.
This workshop will be a prerequisite for full certification and is designed to offer:
• Training in the use of the SAM PuttLab system
• Program options
• Setup and calibration
• Measurement and training
• Reports, Competence profiles, Protocols
This will be an excellent starting spot for a new SAM user, or an instructor who is interested in acquiring a SAM, or simply to become a better putting instructor.
Following a typical morning schedule of the workshop above who have elected to become Level 1 Certified SAM Instructors will attend a further seminar and complete a written test all in one day.
Level 1 Certification will cover all relevant aspects of professional use of SAM PuttLab. The seminar attendees learn how to conduct professional putting lessons with the SAM PuttLab including setup, measurement, training and interpretation of SAM reports. It further explains the basic fundamentals of putting and the derived SAM trainings concepts.
Instructor candidates will complete a written test at the conclusion of each session. The instructor will receive a certification document and his/her name will be listed on the Science & Motion web site as SAM Certified Instructors.
Carr when on to say, “Our certification curriculum will reach to Level 2 as well as Level 3 Master Instructor status and has prerequisite time in use guidelines. We expect a large number of our existing SAM PuttLab instructors to attain Level 2 and Level 3 Master designations. All Level 2 and Level 3 certifications will be conducted personally by Christian Marquardt, Phd. the co-founder of Science and Motion.”
