Most accurate drivers on PGA, Nationwide Tours played Aldila’s VooDoo® and VS Proto™ shafts in their drivers
POWAY, Calif. – Two weeks, total domination. For the second consecutive week as the best Tour players in the world have been going head to head at the PGA Tour Playoffs for the FedExCup, it’s resoundingly clear that Aldila continues to be their #1 shaft of choice. After placing first in the driver, wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at The Barclays, Aldila followed that up with a repeat performance at the Deutsche Bank Championship.
This week, with just 100 players competing in the Deutsche Bank Championship, “The Hottest Shafts In Golf” still turned in dominating numbers winning all three counts, according to the Darrell Survey. In fact Aldila had 35 more wood shafts in play than the next leading shaft manufacturer and had twice as many hybrid shafts in play than their closest competitor.
Shaft count wins at a FedEx Cup playoff event are nothing out of the ordinary for “The Hottest Shafts In Golf”. Aldila has won every wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer count at the FedEx Cup playoffs since 2008.
One of the main reasons Aldila is the #1 shaft of choice on Tour is because of the pinpoint accuracy of their shafts. The Most Accurate Drivers on the PGA and Nationwide Tours this week played Aldila shafts in their Drivers. At the Deutsche Bank Championship, the Most Accurate Driver used Aldila’s VooDoo® to help him finish with an 85.71 percent average in Driving Accuracy well ahead of the field’s average of 68.56 percent. At the Mylan Classic, the Most Accurate Driver used Aldila’s VS Proto™ in his Driver to help him finish with a tournament best of 76.8 percent.
“What sets the VooDoo apart from the field is its patent-pending S-core (stabilized core) Technology™ designed to maximize energy transfer to the golf ball, yielding unparalleled distance and accuracy with each swing,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “It’s high modulus carbon stabilization rib that runs the length of the shaft keeps it more concentric, preventing shaft ovaling, deformation and wasted energy during the golf swing.”
Aldila is the leading name in graphite golf shafts: It won golf’s Grand Slam in 2009, being the most used wood and hybrid shafts at every Major on the PGA Tour. For two years it has been the most played wood and hybrid shaft at every FedEx Cup Playoff event. Are you playing Aldila or just graphite?
