IRVINE, CA – September 7, 2010 – FOURTEEN GOLF, recognized as a worldwide leader in wedge design and a known favorite amongst top touring golf professionals, announced today that for three weeks in a row FOURTEEN GOLF has celebrated a professional tour victory.
The FOURTEEN GOLF victory series began with impressive PGA Tour wins at the Wyndham Championship and Barclays Championship. This past weekend the winner of the Nationwide Tour Mylan Classic played FOURTEEN GOLF equipment to win the event and continue the FOURTEEN GOLF winning streak to three victories in three weeks and taking the season’s win list to ELEVEN.
The Mylan Champion closed the tournament with a bogey free round of 4-under 67 to win his first Nationwide Tour event and jumped to 14th on the money list. The Top-25 receives a 2011 PGA Tour Card.
According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “This is a very exciting golf season for FOURTEEN GOLF. To celebrate three victories in a row is amazing! We congratulate these professionals for their exceptional play and for continuing to trust FOURTEEN GOLF.”
FOURTEEN GOLF is known for their short game arsenal but this week it was a FOURTEEN GOLF Utility Iron that helped the Mylan Champion reach his goal of winning a Nationwide Tour event.
These Tour specific utility irons guarantee that the accomplished player or golf professional will reach their intended target. It’s uniquely shaped hollow structure produces the distance of a fairway wood but with the accuracy of an iron. They look easy to hit and in fact they are. The meticulous research the FOURTEEN GOLF engineers performed on the club head’s shape and positioning of the CG resulted in a utility iron that is controllable as well as stable. The deeper and lower CG allows the skilled golfer to select the smallest of targets and precisely get it there.
FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in its tour programs. The company has tour representation throughout the world. The Nationwide Tour and LPGA are represented by Steve Loerzel. He works closely and attentively with these two tours to make sure FOURTEEN GOLF and its equipment is perfectly built for these professional players.
“It is ALWAYS satisfying to see someone you’ve worked with succeed and this particular win can change his entire future. I am happy for him and hope he locks in his 2011 PGA Card,” stated Loerzel.
