NORWALK, Conn. – Ontario PGA Members and golf buyers will be able to experience product sourcing, testing and comparison from the very best brands of golf and attend a myriad of new education and networking programs at the 2010 Ontario PGA Golf Merchandise Show, October 26-28 at the International Centre in Toronto.
Ranging from industry newcomers to market leaders, more than 100 golf brands and companies will utilize the Ontario PGA Golf Merchandise Show to launch new products and innovative merchandising programs including Abacus, Bugatchi Uomo Apparel, Callaway Golf Canada, Cleveland Golf/Srixon Canada, Club Car, FILA, Jamie Sadock, LIJA, Mizuno Canada, Nike Golf Canada, Pukka Headwear, Quagmire Golf, TaylorMade-adidas Canada and Wilson Sports.
“As the 2010 golf season winds down, the Ontario PGA Golf Merchandise Show provides industry professionals with an opportunity to preview products from the top names in golf, get re-energized and prepare for the 2011 season,” said Dustin Kerr-Taylor, president of the Ontario PGA and Canadian PGA head golf professional at The Mandarin Golf & Country Club. “I also believe the new conference program will have much to offer for professionals looking to enhance their careers and provide more value to their employers.”
Keynote sessions and timely topics are building an all-new conference program featuring seminars on golf instruction, facility operations, new marketing strategies, golf shop merchandising, growth of the game best practices and professional enrichment. The 2010 Ontario PGA Show Conference will be held Tuesday, October 26, in the International Centre, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Also, Ontario PGA Members and golf buyers will be able to enjoy multiple professional networking events including the complimentary Industry Networking Reception right on the Show floor (Hall 5) on the first evening of exhibition events, Wednesday, October 27. The Industry Networking Reception will include complimentary beverages, hors d’oeuvres and a $2,000 Full Swing Swing Simulator contest. Additionally, the annual Ontario PGA Awards Dinner & Ceremony will follow the reception where the top Ontario PGA Members will be honored.

The Ontario PGA Golf Merchandise Show returns to the Toronto International Center, Hall 5, on Wednesday, October 27, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 28, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Ontario PGA Show Conference program begins the annual industry gathering on Tuesday, October 26, also at the International Centre, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. The Ontario PGA Show features more than 100 golf vendors, education seminars and professional networking events.
