SAN DIEGO, CA. – Heritage Golf Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Moscar as General Manager of Polo Golf & Country Club. Polo Golf & Country Club is a private country club featuring unrivaled golf and uncompromising service. Designed by award-winning architect Joe Lee, Polo Golf & Country Club features an 18-hole championship golf course that winds through one hundred acres of tree-lined fairways and gently rolling greens.
“Dan Moscar is one of our most experienced managers and has a proven record of leadership and success,” said John Hungerford, Executive Vice President of Heritage Golf Group. “Dan has worked at various golf courses on Hilton Head Island for over 15 years, bringing with him experience and a passion for golf. I am confident that, under his leadership, Polo Golf & Country Club will continue its commitment to the Heritage tradition of unrivaled golf and uncompromising service.”
Since 1988, Polo Golf & Country Club has been the place where Members have found a sense of belonging. Set in a beautiful wooded area of Northern Atlanta, Polo Golf & Country Club offers a scenic 18-hole golf course designed by award-winning architect Joe Lee.
Polo Golf & Country Club was created in a traditional, classical style, preferred by the USGA for major championships. With tee options ranging from 5,100 to 6,800 yards, this championship golf course features water hazards on most of its holes and offers large greens that are fast and full of subtle breaks. Before embarking on a challenging round of golf, Members and guests hone their skills on the renovated practice area that offers a large practice tee as well as a complete short game practice area.
Moscar has extensive experience in the golf industry, having previously served as General Manager and Director of Golf at two other Heritage Golf Group properties. He fulfilled both of these roles at Shipyard Golf Club and at Port Royal Golf Club. Prior to his role of General Manager at Port Royal Golf Club, Moscar also held the position of Tournament Director at that property.
