(VIENNA, VA) – Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – owner and operator of 120 golf courses, country clubs and resorts – has promoted Anthony Scala to Vice President and Controller, Sandra Colareta to Director of Contracts and Risk Management, and Joel Gohlmann to Vice President of Operations.
Most recently Accounting Director, Scala has a six-year BCG tenure. He will continue to oversee and grow the full-service accounting team in addition to increased management of special projects, corporate finances and systems development. A Certified Public Accountant, Scala was with Ernst & Young prior to BCG.
Colareta began with BCG in 2005 as Contracts Administrator and advanced to Contracts Manager. In her new role, she will prepare liquor-license applications, manage insurance programs, draft operating and lease agreements, and train field staff on risk management. Colareta holds a J.D. from American University.
BCG’s Regional Manager in the Mid-Atlantic since 2005, Gohlmann oversees properties and on-site staffs in multiple states. As Vice President, he assumes expanded corporate responsibility in marketing, agronomy, client relationships and portfolio growth. Gohlmann has managed golf courses for roughly 20 years.
