(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) — Tom Hoch — a pioneer in revenue-based design and turn-key, design-build interior architecture solutions — has been selected for the clubhouse interior design at Metamora Fields, a new golf and residential community opening in Metamora, Illinois.
Utilizing its proprietary revenue-based design model, Tom Hoch will employ a space-planning, sizing and mapping process to develop revenue centers that operate with maximum efficiency. With more than 45 years industry experience and a category-leading portfolio of domestic and international projects, the firm will work with the Metamora Fields team to create a clubhouse that is comfortable, inviting and connects emotionally with golfers. The interior design for the three-level, 20,000-square-foot clubhouse includes a golf shop, a grill and a banquet room, all of which will be complete in time for a fall 2010 opening.
“Under the guidance of ownership and management, Metamora Fields is a very unique project and we are excited to advance its mission of public golf,” says Hoch. “Using our state-of-the-art facilities and in-house expertise, we are able to fast-track the project so golfers can enjoy all of the services and amenities the clubhouse has to offer from the minute it opens.”
“Metamora Fields is all about making people feel welcome,” says Dan Budzius, president of Golf Resources Group. “From the golf shop to the locker rooms, Tom Hoch creates memorable clubhouses that are able to do just that, while maintaining their financial efficiency. We look forward to working with Tom and his team to create one of premier public golf facilities in the state.”
Metamora Fields, located just northeast of Peoria, Illinois, is a community that is “exclusively public,” meaning it is open to anyone and everyone. The D.A. Weibring and Steve Wolfard designed golf course focuses on playability for golfers of all skill levels. Several holes will open later this year, with the entire course opening for the 2011 golf season. The residential community features 102 lots with views of the golf course, lakes and ponds.
Other recent U.S. and internationally-based Tom Hoch projects include: The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain (Marana, Arizona); The Members’ Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota (Florida); Farm Links Golf Club (Alabama); Renaissance Golf Club (Massachusetts); TPC Valencia (California); Zavidovo Golf and Lake Resort (Russia); and Tulsa Country Club (Oklahoma); multiple projects with Troon Golf; Apes Hill Club (Barbados); and The Abaco Club (Bahamas).
