Arizona’s top junior golf tour to get a complete website overhaul
IMMEDIATE RELEASE, Jacksonville, FL, September 16, 2010 — The Desert Junior Golf Tour is pleased to announce the kick-off of it’s new, user-friendly website (http://desertjrtour.com) at this weekends season kickoff event Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona. The new website was built by the Golf Industry Social Media leaders TRC-WebDesign (the social media division of the TourResourceCenter.com). The new website offers a wealth of valuable golf information and was built to better inform Southwest junior golfers and their parents about upcoming events, player information including college recruiting programs, and junior golf tournaments.
“Our new website reflects the new ownership at the Desert Jr Golf Tour, there are many changes to the tour which we are excited about.” said Lisa Kaahanui, Owner and Tour Operator. “We are taking on a fresh new look with a new cutting edge website, built by the TRC-WebDesign team, it takes our tour to the next level with a commitment not only to the members but also to junior golf. We know that everyone will enjoy the easy to use layout and design of the new site.”
The new website will have Social Media features and a Blog News Center so that everyone will get to keep up with the latest news and be able to comment and give feedback. Another new feature will be the implementation of the BlueGolf scoring system. The new system will provide registration processing, player statistics, live scoring, and a detailed tournament info section.

As the 2010-11 season will be the inaugural season that the Desert Junior Golf Tour goes outside the Arizona border, the website will facilitate further opportunity for the DJGT to continue growing the tour and setting the bar high for all competitors.

Founded in 2002, the Desert Junior Golf Tour is a unique junior tour experience that allows boys and girls between the ages of 8-19 the opportunity to play nationally ranked junior golf tournaments. The tour presents juniors the chance to showcase their talents and receive national recognition at a very reasonable cost.
DJGT offers a quality tour experience, specifically designed for junior golfers. Tournaments are held on first class, championship caliber golf courses, organized and run by professionally trained personnel.
