Custom driver fittings will be available in the lobby of the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square
TEMPE, Ariz. (September 16, 2010) – DnA Golf, manufacturer of the only patented detachable-face driver, will be a sponsor at the 8th annual IMG Sports Marketing Symposium (www.SportsMarketingSymposium.com ), Sept. 21 and 22, at the New York Marriott Marquis at Times Square in New York City.
The two-day symposium will feature a “Who’s Who” of top-level executives and companies in the sports and marketing industries, and will focus on the changing dynamics of sports marketing and the opportunities and growth areas that have come as a result of these recent shifts.
As a sponsor, DnA Golf will provide custom fittings for its new Alpha 610 Driver, complete with a hitting bay, launch monitor and a PGA Professional in the main lobby of the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square. The first 100 people to go through a fitting also will receive complimentary Titleist Pro V1 golf balls.
“The sports marketing industry is a substantial target market for DnA Golf. We are already a licensee of the NBA and intend to expand into other strategic areas and partner with new customers,” said Howard Lindsay, CEO of DnA Golf. “Our goal as a sponsor is to show our support to the industry and introduce our unique product to key executives and companies in attendance.”
The Alpha 610 is a high-performance driver that is unique to the golf industry, featuring a patented detachable-face technology that is USGA and R&A approved (for the standard face). Aftermarket faces and elastomeric face inserts allow golfers to customize their driver for optimal distance based on their unique swing speed.
Additionally, each DnA driver includes a custom logo tastefully integrated into the crown of the club. Examples of the available logo categories include the main branches of the military, NBA teams, corporate logos, charities, and golf courses. Custom logo placement is also available on the premium headcover.
“With more than 30% of rounds played attributed to ‘business’, DnA Golf aspires to add value to this sector by benefiting global and regional brands in their initiatives to connect with the high-end golfer demographic,” Lindsay said. “Using our patented technologies, we are able to uniquely distinguish ourselves from all other competitive golf products to help brands create and maintain greater awareness and loyalty.”

About DnA Golf
Based in Tempe, Ariz., DnA Golf, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of VyaTek Sports (www.vyatek.com), a company that for more than 10-years has been designing high-end sports equipment for leading brands such as Wilson, Louisville Slugger and Rawlings.
DnA Golf, Inc. was formed in August 2009, but the concept for the first DnA Golf driver began in 2002 when BMW asked VyaTek Sports if they could develop a golf driver worthy of their “Ultimate Driving Machine” tagline. This effort culminated in the creation of a radical new driver that was highly tunable and had the look, feel, sound and performance of a well-made German car.
DnA Golf utilizes a unique distribution strategy, partnering with corporate brands, sports teams, military branches/facilities, charities and green grass golf facilities. With more than 30 percent of rounds played attributed to “business”, golf is an attractive area to build brand loyalty and awareness.
DnA Golf recently launched DnA Direct, a new distribution model that expands the way the company will sell and market their products. DnA Independent Distributors can sign up for the DnA Direct program for a minimal financial commitment. They can create their own unique “DnA Chain” where they are rewarded not only for selling drivers, but for connecting the product to their network of friends and colleagues. Independent distributors profit from driver sales, while bonuses and commissions are awarded for referrals to additional distributors.
