Congratulating and thanking Stewart Cink, Zach Johnson and newest program participant, Rickie Fowler, for supporting charity and the Caddy for a Cure program
(September 14, 2010 – Coral Springs, FL) – Caddy For A Cure, Inc., the professional golf opportunity of a lifetime to go inside the ropes and caddie for a day for charity with PGA TOUR players, extends its congratulations to our long-standing program participants and supporters, Stewart Cink, Zach Johnson and soon to participate, Rickie Fowler. Rickie Fowler will be participating with us at the Frys.com
PGA TOUR player and golfing phenom, Rickie Fowler, will be participating with Caddy For A Cure at the 2010 Frys.com. The tournament will be played at the beautiful Corde Valle Golf Club in San Martin, California October 11th – 17th. The caddie date with Rickie will be Wednesday, October 13th during the pro am competition round. The auction for this opportunity is presently live on eBay and interested participants can make a bid in hopes of winning or buy it instantly at the Buy it Now price.
The auction winner spend the day with Rickie on the driving range, putting green and golf course, experiencing each shot first-hand and being in the middle of the action of a professional golf event. They will walk shoulder to shoulder among the world’s best players as they prepare to compete in this exciting official Tour event.
Russ Holden, Caddy For A Cure founder and veteran PGA TOUR caddie commented, “It is such an honor to be able to offer this wonderful opportunity with Rickie. He is clearly one of the best players out on TOUR right now and we expect to see great things from him for many years to come.” Holden continued, “Rickie will be joining the ranks of fellow 2010 U.S. Ryder Cup team members Stewart Cink and Zach Johnson who have both participated with Caddy For A Cure numerous times over the past 6 years. And although any event would be great for an opportunity with Rickie, this one should be especially exciting since it’s in his home state and he’ll be fresh off his inaugural Ryder Cup appearance. We’re expecting plenty of fans to be following him the entire week, adding to the excitement. But the best part is Rickie is helping make a difference in the lives of many people who really need it through the great game of golf.”
All caddie opportunities are offered through the Caddy For A Cure website (www.caddyforacure.com) and eBay linked auctions. 100% of auction proceeds go to charity in support of the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, the Wounded Warrior Project, the PGA TOUR Caddie Benevolent Fund, the host site and participating player’s charity of choice and are fully tax deductible as allowed by law.
