ORLANDO, Fla. (Sept. 21, 2010) – Can the emerging business of online tee-time services increase marketing opportunities that build stronger customer relationships? That will be among the topics discussed by a panel of industry experts at the Golf Inc. Conference in Las Vegas, Nev.
The Oct. 6 conference session, titled “Online Tee Times 2.0: Integrating Your Operation through the Power of Your Tee Sheet,” will feature Mike Loustalot, executive vice president, Golf Channel Solutions; Jon Last, president, Sports & Leisure Research Group; and Greg Avant, owner and director of golf at the Lone Tree Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz. Henry DeLozier, a principal with Global Golf Advisors, will moderate the discussion.
“As online tee-time services evolve, operators are leveraging the technology to collect better information that can be integrated into marketing programs that drive revenues,” said Loustalot. “Therefore, the tee sheet becomes a gateway to building stronger customer relationships.”
Revenue reports, segmenting customers through database management, e-mail marketing, and website development and management are among the subjects that will be discussed during the session. “I think we’re just beginning to discover the real power that the tee sheet can deliver through these online tee time services,” Loustalot said.
The Golf Inc. Conference is scheduled Oct. 4-6 at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.
