Falcon’s Fire celebrates America’s military men and women with new program offering active, reserve and retired military personnel tremendous values; program now available at 28 acclaimed Marriott golf courses throughout the U.S.
ORLANDO, Fla. – September 22, 2010…Marriott Golf, one of the world’s premier golf operators and the golf management organization of Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR), today announced that Falcon’s Fire Golf Club is participating in the “Fairway Furloughs” Military Golf Program, designed to honor the nation’s Armed Forces. In celebrating America’s military men and women, the new program provides active, reserve and retired military personnel with tremendous values at 28 acclaimed Marriott Golf courses throughout the United States, including Falcon’s Fire Golf Club, one of the top public courses in the area, located in Kissimmee, Fla.
Members of the Armed Forces can now take advantage of discounted green fees/carts, ranging from just $39 – $69. This program is available after 3 p.m. any day of the week, year round, at Falcon’s Fire Golf Club. Tee times can be made up to three days in advance, and a valid military ID card must be presented. Falcon’s Fire joins some of the country’s premier championship venues already participating in the “Fairway Furloughs” Military Golf Program such as Camelback Golf Club, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Doral Golf Resort & Spa, Miami, Fla.; Kauai Lagoons Golf Club, Lihue, Hawaii; and Stone Mountain Golf Club, Stone Mountain, Ga., among others. In total, 28 golf courses located at 20 Marriott Golf properties will participate in the program, which will provide military personnel with arguably the greatest golf values in the country today.
