Industry-leading clubhouse designer develops roadmap for club’s future with management, members
(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) — Tom Hoch — a pioneer in revenue-based design and turn-key, design-build interior architecture solutions — has completed a clubhouse master plan for Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville, Oklahoma that will maximize space and enhance the overall member experience.
Tom Hoch used its proprietary revenue-based design model, a space planning, sizing and mapping process for retail-driven spaces, to develop a master plan that utilizes the existing structural footprint, without any additions, while revitalizing the building’s interior and exterior.
“The new master plan at Hillcrest Country Club is designed to enable the club’s amenity centers to operate with maximum efficiency, translating to increased enjoyment among the club’s members,” says Hoch. “By working with the management and members we were able to develop a plan that achieves the club’s goals without adding additional square footage to the clubhouse.”
“Tom Hoch has a proven record of creating master plans that generate enthusiasm among members, by converting underutilized spaces into vibrant gathering areas,” says Gordon Welch, general manager of Hillcrest Country Club. “The new plan at Hillcrest gives us a roadmap for the future of the clubhouse and our members.”
Hillcrest Country Club, founded in 1926 by a group of businessmen, now has 550 members who enjoy the club’s luxury-class golf, tennis and dining facilities. The club’s golf course was designed by architect Perry Maxwell and has been ranked by Tulsa World as one of Oklahoma’s five best courses.
Other recent U.S. and internationally-based Tom Hoch projects include: The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain (Marana, Arizona); The Members’ Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota (Florida); Farm Links Golf Club (Alabama); Renaissance Golf Club (Massachusetts); TPC Valencia (California); Zavidovo Golf and Lake Resort (Russia); and Tulsa Country Club (Oklahoma); multiple projects with Troon Golf; Apes Hill Club (Barbados); and The Abaco Club (Bahamas).
