COLUMBUS, Ga, September 24, 2010 — Roy Nix, Executive Director of the Association of Golf Clubfitting Professionals (AGCP), the world leader in the advancement of custom clubfitting and clubmaking, received word today from Kate Whitney that SwingRite training products will introduce their newest product at the 5th Annual AGCP Roundtable Education Conference and Convention to be held in Columbus GA September 29 through October 2, 2010.
SwingRite LLC’s President, Kate Whitney, says, “SwingRite is bringing the newest addition to their growing product line…the SwingRite Home Run Hitter! The SwingRite HRH is the newest bat training aid on the market today. It was developed from the Original SwingRite training aid for golf. The SwingRite HRH is great for baseball and softball…but we have also been told that many golfers use baseball bats in their warm up routines. It’s also a great way for kids to learn how to swing a golf club…you give them the bat to swing, and then eventually a golf club. The swings are very similar, just on different planes.” The premise behind this new bat, is that instead of swinging a plain, regular bat, swing the SwingRite HRH and actually get some feedback and help work on building that muscle memory! Stop by our booth at the RT-5 and check out the new bat along with the Original SwingRite and see how both products can help in your fittings and sales!
The 5th Annual Education Conference and clubfitters and clubmakers convention will be held in the Historic Columbus Iron Works Trade and Convention Center in Columbus, Georgia with a Demo Day the day before including a Special Feature with the appearance of Kevin Bullard – 7 Time National Long Drive Champion at Woodland Hills Golf Course. Kevin will be at Hole #3, a Par 5 hole at 2:30 PM at the end of the Demo Day events to put on an exhibition of his skills.
The Featured speaker this year will be Tom Wishon, whose company Tom Wishon Golf Technology is recognized as the highest quality designer of high performance original clubheads, shafts, grips and fitting technology products used by independent professional custom clubmakers around the world, and guest speaker AGCP members Eric Hogge, the head professional of the PGA Center for Learning and Education in Port St. Lucie FL and Jimmy Sharpe, All America football player at the University of Alabama and former Head Football Coach at Virginia Tech as our dinner speaker this year, The AGCP expects a much larger turn out for this year’s event.
