Finishes T-4 at The TOUR Championship in FedEx Cup Finale
SCHAUMBURG, Illinois (September 27, 2010) – Nippon Shaft recorded its second consecutive victory on The Champions Tour Sunday (Sept. 26) and also finished tied for fourth at The TOUR Championship, the PGA TOUR’s final FedEx Cup playoff event.
The 51-year-old Champions Tour victor, who won the most recent Champions Tour event in South Korea two weeks ago using Nippon Shaft products, prevailed his second event in a row on the senior circuit. The left-handed Kentuckian finished with a 54-hole total of 14-under par on rounds of 64-67-71at the SAS Championship at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, N.C. His final round 1-under 71 enabled him to hold off the tournament’s defending champion by two strokes.
Meanwhile, at the TOUR Championship, Nippon Shaft recorded another world-class finish at East Lake Country Club in Atlanta. The same 31-year-old Englishman who finished runner up at the BMW Championship on Sept. 12 recorded a T-4, shooting 5-under par 66-71-69-69-275.

The SAS Championship winner took home a check worth $315,000 while the T-4 regular TOUR finisher at East Lake earned $330,000.
