The #1 Cleat on TOUR Dominates Professional Golf Weekend with Wins on Nationwide Tour, PGA TOUR & Champions Tour
BRENTWOOD, Tenn., September 29, 2010…Softspikes®, the world’s best-selling golf cleat brand and maker of the #1 Cleat on TOUR, captured three victories across the men’s professional golf tours this past weekend. Led by BLACK WIDOW®, golf’s best-selling cleat of all time, which was worn by the winner at the Nationwide Tour’s WNB Golf Classic, Softspikes-brand cleats were worn by winners at The TOUR Championship Presented by Coca-Cola and the Champions Tour’s SAS Championship.
Adding to a great weekend on tour, 32 of the top 41 finishers on the Nationwide Tour wore Softspikes brand cleats, with 5 of the top 8 finishers wearing BLACK WIDOW® TOUR™, golf’s hottest new cleat. Additionally, 6 of the top 9 finishers wore Softspikes on the PGA TOUR, along with 18 of the top 29 finishers on the Champion’s Tour, which included a fourth place finish by BLACK WIDOW® TOUR™.
