One of the Knoxville-area’s premier public golf courses, Centennial Golf Course – an 18-hole, par-71, 6,633-yard gem – opened in 1997 providing fun and challenging experiences for players of all skill levels.
Designed by architect Gary Roger Baird, Centennial routes golfers through natural forests and rolling Tennessee hills, presenting a championship layout with plush Bermuda fairways and bent-grass greens.
A spacious practice area – perfect for golfers to hone their games between rounds – includes 40 hitting stations, grass tees, target greens, bunker and chipping areas, and three putting greens. The fully-stocked pro shop offers a wide selection of golf equipment and apparel, as well as club repair and certified custom fitting.
The Grill at Centennial provides a comfortable place to relax with a cold beverage and enjoy magnificent views of the golf course.
Centennial has been designated a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” by Audubon International for its high standards protecting the environment and preserving the natural heritage of golf.
Following the Audubon International-approved steps for an environmentally-friendly golf course reduces waste and promotes efficient operations. An effective program results in a reduction of maintenance costs, including insurance premiums, energy, water, pesticides, fertilizer, equipment wear and labor.
