SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. …Golf Pride® celebrated another year of its partnership with the Folds of Honor Foundation and Patriot Golf Day by donating $15,000 towards the cause in a presentation last week at Golf Pride headquarters.
“Golf Pride is proud to continue our partnership with Dan Rooney and the Folds of Honor Foundation in supporting the families of our soldiers,” said Dan Kohler, director of global sales and marketing for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division. “To date, Golf Pride has donated more than $50,000, manpower and golf grips to the Folds of Honor Foundation and related events.”
Throughout the partnership, Golf Pride has participated in a number of events to support Folds of Honor, including the Oklahoma City Patriot Golf Event and the Deutsche Bank Championship. During the fourth annual Patriot Golf Day, which was held over Labor Day weekend, golfers who played at participating courses were asked to add a minimum of $1 to their greens fees to help raise money for the Folds of Honor Scholarship Fund. The fund, founded by Major Dan Rooney, provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military service members disabled or killed in the line of duty.
