Heritage Golf Group was selected by the Club Board to manage all operations for the new member-owned club.
“It is a great pleasure to welcome Mike to The Amelia Island Club as General Manager,” said John Hungerford, Executive Vice President of Heritage Golf Group. “Having previously served in a leadership role with Heritage Golf Group Properties, we are supremely confident in his management abilities. It has been acclaimed as one of the “Top 50 Courses in Florida”, by Golfweek Magazine and one of the “Best Places to Play” by Golf Digest. Long Point was previously host to the Florida Women’s Amateur, Men’s U.S. Open and U.S. Amateur qualifiers, in addition to numerous Amelia Island Club events and championships.
