BRENTWOOD, Tenn., October 11, 2010 … Softspikes®, the world’s best-selling golf cleat brand, is enjoying a dominant run in professional golf’s fall season, as the maker of the #1 Cleat on TOUR captured the plastic cleat field at the PGA TOUR’s McGladrey Classic, with 65% of the plastic cleat wearing field, including 26 of the top 33 finishers, wearing Softspikes’ stable of products, according to the Independent Darrell Survey.
Complementing a successful weekend on Tour, the winner and 9 of the top 12 finishers wore Softspikes at the Navistar LPGA Classic, highlighted by a top 5 place finish from BLACK WIDOW® TOUR™, golf’s first adjustable cleat. Additionally, Softspikes captured the win at the Nationwide Tour’s Chattanooga Classic Presented by Black Creek, while BLACK WIDOW® TOUR™ earned a third place finish at the Champions Tour’s Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship.
