Flemington, NJ, October 14, 2010 – eGolfScore (the leading provider of wireless scoring for individual golfers, corporate, celebrity and charity golf events across North America and Europe) and the Tournament Golf Association of America (TGAA) proudly announce its involvement in the 2010 GOLF.COM World Amateur Handicap Championship Final Round. 79 players advanced to play the final round (held on September 3, 2010 at the beautiful TPC Myrtle Beach).
“The real-time scoring provided by eGolfScore, and the service provided by the TGAA Tour, truly made our golfers feel like Tour Pros. Not only did the golfers enjoy it but our World-Am Team and Staff were thrilled that the results were completed faster than ever before,” said Dave Macpherson, Tournament Director of the GOLF.com World Amateur Handicap Championship.
“The TGAA Tour has incorporated the eGolfScore real time scoring system at over 50 of our events in the past two years. Approximately thirty TGAA Tour members competed at the World Am, with three players winning their flight and competing in the Championship Round…a byproduct of the competition found on the TGAA Tour. Through our partnership with Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday, we were proud to provide the service and support to involve eGolfScore in the Championship Round and raise the level of excitement at the 2010 Golf.com World Amateur Handicap Championship,” reports Dennis Baca, President and CEO of TGAA.
“It has been very exciting to work with the TGAA Tour over the past two years and we are proud to have seen many of their tour members participate in the GOLF.com World Amateur Handicap Championship. It was an honor to be a part of this event and we look forward to building a great relationship with such a terrific event and organization,” said Joe Kaplan, Co-Founder and CEO of eGolfScore.
