BALTIMORE, MD. – October 15, 2010 – STX Golf, world-renowned as an industry pioneer in putter innovation, and for its patented Soft Face Insert Technology, announced today that the company unveiled its innovative new 2011 STX Putter Line to its newly appointed sales team.
Last week STX Golf held its annual sales meeting at the exclusive Horseshoe Bay Resort outside of Austin, Texas. The resort was the perfect venue to introduce the new Sync Series as it boasts the finest and most expansive putting course in the country. Twenty STX Golf sales reps competed on the Whitewater Putter Course as a way of personally learning about the new line.
According to STX National Sales Manager Calvin Peete Jr., “The new Sync Series managed to inspire every sales executive. All were thrilled with its appearance, performance, and pricing. All went home with their demos and samples. The new Sync Series will be ‘officially’ introduced at the 2011 PGA Merchandise Show.”
In addition to the new SS Series, STX introduced the new interchangeable ProFIT 6 Putter in belly/long lengths. New sales programs, new marketing tools, and the new STX Tournament website were all presented to their highly qualified independent sales representatives. STX now has coverage from the West Coast to the East Coast and they have garnered some of the best executives in the industry.
According to STX Golf Director Steve Henneman, “Calvin has done a terrific job! His team is so enthusiastic and qualified. Most began booking for spring orders before the sales meeting so we are very excited about the new line.”
STX Golf continues to look for experienced, hard working sales executives that can contribute to their sales growth and initiatives. The company encourages you to contact CalvinP@stx.com if you are interested in joining the STX team.
About STX
STX is acknowledged as being the golf industry’s foremost authority on insert face technology. Over a quarter century ago, the company introduced the first patented soft face elastomer insert, creating the “softest legal face in golf.” In the mid-90s the company’s research and development team introduced the first USGA approved interchangeable face insert and removable weight system. Both these and other innovations have helped create the standards for putter design today.
