Longest Driver averages 13 more yards than Miccosukee Championship field with RIP Technology™
POWAY, Calif. – Led by their latest shaft, the RIP®, Aldila remained the #1 graphite shaft on Tour by winning the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at the Frys.com Open, according to the Darrell Survey. “The Hottest Shafts In Golf” had 19 more wood shafts in play and 12 more hybrid shafts in play than the next leading shaft manufacturer.
“The RIP employs patent-pending technology and exclusive materials to completely transform shaft design from the inside,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. Through the use of computer modeling technology and exclusive materials provided by the Aldila Materials Division, Aldila engineers were able to completely rethink golf shaft design and performance. The result is a revolutionary shaft with optimum flex and torque characteristics with incredible feel.”
Aldila’s technology ranked at the top on the PGA and Nationwide Tours this week. The longest driver at the Miccosukee Championship relied on the lower torque, increased tip stability and better tip stiffness control of Aldila’s RIP Technology™ in his driver. With the help of the RIP he averaged 309.1 yards, which was 13.6 yards more than the field’s driving average.
Using Aldila’s VooDoo in his driver, the second most accurate driver at the Frys.com finished the tournament with an 82.1 percent average, which was well ahead of the field’s average of 64.64 percent.
What sets the VooDoo apart is its patent-pending S-core Technology™ designed to maximize distance and provide outstanding accuracy. The real “magic” is the high modulus carbon stabilization rib running the length of the shaft. The innovative rib structure keeps the shaft more concentric, preventing shaft ovaling, deformation and wasted energy during the golf swing. The Aldila VooDoo simply helps generate consistently straight and long shots – with feel competitor shafts can’t match.
Aldila has the unique ability to fuse high-end design with cutting edge technology. They are continually on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
