Marlborough, MA – The PGA Tour has had many great stories at the end of each tournament in the 2010 season. This week at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open there was a playoff finish that will be remembered as one of the most unbelievable finishes of the year.
In a three-man playoff, the tournament was decided when the winner, wearing CHAMP PROSTINGER™ Spikes, hit a hole-in-one on the fourth playoff hole. CHAMP was also proud to have six of the top ten finishers and more than half of the entire field competing in CHAMP spikes. This is the 26th victory for CHAMP during the 2010 PGA Tour season.
Across the pond at the Castello Masters Costa Azahar in Valencia, Spain the up and coming Italian teenager of the European Tour took the victory while wearing CHAMP’s most popular model, the ScorpionSTINGER™ Spike. Accompanying him on the leaderboard was 66% of the entire field and 9 of the top 10 finishers. This is also CHAMP’s 26th win on the European Tour season.
