Byrd Ends Justin Timberlake PGA Tour Golf Event with One Historic Swing
As is always the case, Las Vegas’ PGA Tour event, the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, went down to the wire. But this year it took several ‘wires’ to decide a champ. But on the fourth playoff hole, Jonathan Byrd knocked in his tee shot on the par 3, 17th hole to win the tournament. It was the second ace of the day on the hole, and arguably the shot of the year on the PGA Tour. “I’m in shock,” is all Byrd could say in the moments following his magical 6-iron. It was the first time in the history of the PGA Tour that an event was won by a player recording a hole-in-one on the final hole and final swing.

Natalie Gulbis To Shine at Upcoming Las Vegas Charity Golf Tournaments
LPGA Tour star and Las Vegas Golf Region resident Natalie Gulbis has always wanted to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Her parents raised her to care, and given her position as an LPGA Tour superstar, it is easy for her to reach out and pick up others. And that will again be happening as Gulbis is first scheduled to play for the LPGA Tour team at the Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge November 9 at Las Vegas’ Rio Secco Golf Club, before hosting the Natalie Gulbis Golf Classic at Rio Secco on December 15. Rio Secco is a Las Vegas resort golf course open to all Las Vegas golfers.
