IRVINE, CA – October 25, 2010 – FOURTEEN GOLF, recognized as a worldwide leader in wedge design and a known favorite amongst top touring golf professionals, announced today that its PGA Tour program continues to succeed. The company followed a winning streak of five victories in two weeks, with a sensational second place finish at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open.
The fall series has been filled with suspense and this weekend was no exception. A FOURTEEN GOLF SUPPORTER and PGA TOUR Professional joined two other players for a sudden death playoff. Each willfully played to their full potential. As the sun was setting on the TPC Summerlin Golf Course, a remarkable hole in one captured the championship and the FOURTEEN GOLF supporter took home his largest purse of the season.
The Darrell Survey confirmed that a FOURTEEN GOLF #3 Hi 660 Utility Iron was played by the PGA TOUR Professional who tied for second place. According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “Our utility irons get a lot of play on the PGA Tour. They are easier to HIT than traditional long irons and are more controllable. We congratulate this talented golfer for his first second place finish of the 2010 PGA Tour season and thank him for playing our product.”
FOURTEEN GOLF and their Tour specific utility irons guarantee that the low handicapper will reach their intended target. It’s uniquely shaped hollow structure produces the distance of a fairway wood but with the accuracy of an iron. They look easy to hit and in fact they are.
The meticulous research the FOURTEEN GOLF engineers performed on the club head’s shape and positioning of the CG resulted in a utility iron that is FORGIVING, AS CONSISTENT. The deep and low CG allows the golfer to hit shots with pin point accuracy.
FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour program. Its success is critical to the company’s overall growth initiative. The feed back they receive from the touring professionals furnish key information for the research and development team as well as provides keen visibility
In addition to the second place finish at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open, FOURTEEN GOLF was recognized for a fifth place tie at the Nationwide Tour Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open. Another FOURTEEN GOLF SUPPORTER played their equipment to reach his first Top-10 of the 2010 season. His stellar play put him 68th on the Nationwide Tour money list.
“As the season comes to a close, FOURTEEN GOLF is thriving. Five wins in two weeks, and five Top-10s this week,” added Kamoda.
At the Sime Darby LPGA tournament, FOURTEEN GOLF had three LPGA Professionals use their equipment to reach the Top-10. An international golfing legend and a top ranked Rolex player used FOURTEEN GOLF and their fairway woods to seal up sixth place.
