TORONTO – Second Skin, the leading Canadian golf outerwear brand, is expanding its waterproof rain collection for introduction into the U.S. golf and resort market for Spring 2011.
Second Skin’s rainwear includes a full range of products from ¼ zips to full jackets to pants. The Wave and Ocean jackets are made with a smooth, quiet fabric and four-way stretch panels designed with the golfer’s freedom of movement in mind. Second Skin’s Hydraproof™ seam sealed and waterproof fabric keeps all golfers comfortable and dry on the course. With contrast zippers and welded pockets, both function and fashion are incorporated into these styles.
The Tide and Sea, along with the Inlet for women, have an outdoor feel with a rich textured fabric. Available in an array of colors for both men and women, this jacket has versatility both on and off of the course.
“While we design all of our apparel to look great, it is the functionality and price points that set us apart,” said Don Nichols, managing partner of Second Skin. “All of our rain gear has been tested to stand up to the worst of conditions. They have the features and benefits of garments you would expect to pay $300 or more for…but at a consumer-friendly price point. We are committed as a company to deliver our customer the absolute best value without out sacrificing the performance they need.”
With suggested retail ranging from $130 to $180 for men and women, the new Second Skin line will deliver in Spring 2011. The company will be displaying its total range of products at the PGA Merchandise Show in January.
