New No. 1 golfer in Official World Golf Ranking trusts Aldila’s VooDoo in his driver

POWAY, Calif. – Using a potent combination of Aldila’s RIP® and VooDoo®, the U.S. Open winner captured his third European Tour victory of the season by winning the Andalucia Masters at Valderrama Sunday. He finished with a 3-under 281 (68-67-72-74) to win by two strokes. His first place check of $697,000 moved him closer to first place in the European Tour Race To Dubai.
Aldila’s VooDoo® shaft, featuring S-core Technology™, has also been instrumental for the new No. 1 golfer in the Official World Golf Ranking. He has relied on the VooDoo XNVS in his driver throughout the season.
“The VooDoo XNVS has the same outstanding features of the original VooDoo but with the flex profile and incredible feel of the NV,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “The secret of the VooDoo line is its innovative rib structure that runs the length of the shaft increasing hoop strength/stiffness. It is designed to maximize energy transfer to the golf ball, yielding unparalleled distance and accuracy with each swing.”
Aldila shafts were also featured in the drivers of three of the top four finishers of the 2010 Nationwide Tour Money Leaders list. The first and third place finishers both played Aldila’s RIP Technology™ in their drivers. The Top 25 Money Leaders at the end of the Nationwide Tour season all earn their PGA Tour cards for the 2011 season.
In the final Nationwide Tour tournament of the season, the Nationwide Tour Championship, the second most accurate driver for the tournament switched to the RIP at the start of tournament. When the event was over, he had improved his driving accuracy percentage from 69.76 to 80.4 percent, which is well beyond the Tour’s average of 64.14 percent.
“The RIP employs patent-pending technology and exclusive materials to completely transform shaft design from the inside,” said Bahl. “Through the use of computer modeling technology and exclusive materials provided by the Aldila Materials Division, Aldila engineers were able to completely rethink golf shaft design and performance. The result is a revolutionary shaft with optimum flex and torque characteristics with incredible feel.”
Aldila has the unique ability to fuse high-end design with cutting edge technology. They are continually on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
