The Amelia Island Club, consisting of Long Point Golf Club and the Ocean Club, was recently added to Heritage Golf Group’s portfolio of clubs by signing a management agreement. Heritage Golf Group is able to provide exclusive benefits to its managed Clubs and their Members, such as those benefits offered with the TPC Passport Platinum Program.
TPC Passport Platinum features exclusive access to some of the premier golf courses in the country. The Amelia Island Club features the Long Point course, Tom Fazio’s creation, which is an 18-hole layout designed distinctly among primal marshlands and the towering sand dunes of the Atlantic. Completed in 1987, Fazio’s award-winning design challenges golfers with natural hazards, tight fairways and elevated greens. Long Point is a par 72 course with a back tee yardage of 6,775 yards. It has been acclaimed as one of the “Top 50 Courses in Florida”, by Golfweek Magazine and one of the “Best Places to Play” by Golf Digest.
