IRVINE, CA – November 9, 2010 – FOURTEEN GOLF, recognized as a worldwide leader in wedge design and a known favorite amongst top touring golf professionals, announced today the company has more than doubled its win count from 2009 with its recent victory at the LPGA Mizuno Classic.
As the 2010 professional golf season comes to a close, FOURTEEN GOLF and its loyal professional golfers continue to thrive and win. This past weekend a young talented LPGA professional secured her second title of the season at the LPGA Mizuno Classic. She has won the event twice in the past three years. Her ability to close on Sunday keeps her on the top of the Rolex rankings as well as the money list.
Known as a short ball hitter, this exceptional LPGA Professional plays FOURTEEN GOLF and its SF-206 Fairways Woods for the ADDED distance. According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “This aggressive, spirited, and highly gifted golfer uses every inch of her ability to win and has relied on the SF-206 for years. We thank her for helping us reach an amazing milestone of 20 victories.”
The SF-206 Fairway Woods feature a cutting edge 0.6mm crown thickness which helps achieve an optimal CG and optimal spin rate. “These metal woods do provide the Mizuno Classic Champion extraordinary distance but they are also accurate. She can work the ball with them as well as hold the greens,” added Kamoda.
FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour program. Its success is critical to the company’s overall growth initiative. The feed back they receive from the touring professionals furnish key information for the research and development team.
