Golfers can enjoy the beautiful Industry Hills Golf Course as spectators during tournament week and schedule a tee time to test the greens themselves with this special golf and ticket package; Kia Classic will bring LPGA back to L.A. March 21-27
(NOVEMBER 22, 2010 – INDUSTRY, Calif.) – Golfers looking to enjoy watching the best in women’s golf and test their own games on the same fairways and greens the ladies play are in luck, as the LPGA’s Kia Classic is now offering a special holiday package that includes both tickets to the tournament and a tee time at Industry Hills Golf Course.
The holiday package features two week-long grounds passes to the 2011 Kia Classic and two rounds of golf at Industry Hills, all for just $180.
Also, for those who may enjoy golf as a spectator sport only, the Kia Classic is offering a second holiday special that includes two week-long grounds passes for just $65, a 35 percent discount off the regular rate.
As an added bonus, fans who purchase either Kia Classic holiday special could receive a call from an LPGA player wishing them Happy New Year.
These special holiday packages will be offered Friday, Nov. 26 through Dec. 31 and can be purchased at www.kiaclassic.com or by calling 1-888-SEE-LPGA. Children 17 and under will receive free admission to the Kia Classic when accompanied by a paid adult, and active military members and their families will be admitted free with military ID.
The Kia Classic – which brings the LPGA back to the glitz and glamour of Los Angeles for the first time in five years – will feature a full field of 144 LPGA players battling for a $1.7 million purse at the tournament’s new host venue, Industry Hills Golf Course at Pacific Palms. Tournament week is scheduled for March 21-27, 2011 and will feature a qualifier and practice rounds Monday, practice rounds Tuesday, a pro-am Wednesday and four competitive rounds Thursday-Sunday.
The holiday packages offer significant savings over what one would pay for week-long grounds passes and rounds of golf a-la-carte. The golf rounds are redeemable Monday-Friday until Aug. 31, 2011, excluding holidays and March 14-27.
