Tallahassee club offers championship golf, quaint cottage accommodations
(TALLAHASSEE, Fla.) — SouthWood Golf Club — the award-winning Fred Couples and Gene Bates designed course owned by The St. Joe Company and managed by Billy Casper Golf – today announces winter stay and play rates for its highly sought after golf experience and charming onsite cottages.
From December – February cottage rates will be $129 per night (Sunday – Thursday) and $159 per night (Friday and Saturday). An extended stay rate of $99 per night is available for five consecutive nights. Those staying back-to-back weeknights can pay a total of $200. SouthWood home owners seeking accommodations for guests can book the cottages for $129 per night, regardless of the day of the week. Cottage guests will receive $15 off every round of golf.

Located across the lawn from the historic SouthWood House on a hill overlooking the community, the five cottages feature living rooms with gas fireplaces, efficiency kitchens, full baths, cozy bedrooms with cable television and traditional Southern front porches with rocking chairs. Three cottages feature single king-size beds, while two have queen-size beds for double occupancy. The SouthWood House is an elegant antebellum venue rich in history that accepts events as large as 250 guests.
All cottage rates include a continental breakfast basket each morning. No additional discounts can be applied.
