Year-over-year off-course sales double in third quarter
(RIDGEFIELD, CT) – Boccieri Golf confirms that its award-winning, Tour-proven Heavy Putter line continues to experience consistently strong sell-through at big box retailers nationwide, with off-course sales doubling in the third quarter of 2010 versus the previous year.
The continued growth uptick has been driven in part by the launch of the Heavy Putter LITE-WEIGHT Series and additional models in the MID- and HEAVY-WEIGHT categories. These have combined to provide consumers an array of options featuring Boccieri Golf’s unprecedented application of a heavier mass head and counter-balanced weight in the grip end of the shaft.
“The expanded Heavy Putter collection has been tremendously well received, as golfers now have a variety of styles and weighting options to match their preferences,” says Stephen Boccieri, President and CEO of Boccieri Golf. “We expect this momentum to continue building in 2011, as we roll out a broad range of exciting products.”
The Heavy Putter’s unique design automatically engages the body’s larger, more stable muscles to promote greater stroke stability, swing path consistency, uniform pace and precise control of distance and direction.
