New Bedford, Mass., Dec. 3, 2010 – AHEAD announced today that it has added several new features to its Account Information Portal in its ongoing efforts to provide outstanding customer service. The portal had previously let AHEAD customers view their online orders, embroidery digitization, woven appliqués, rubber appliqués and account profile information. Along with these functions, AHEAD customers can choose to have shipping notices, packing slips and tracking information emailed to them as well as invoices and statements.
“Providing superior customer service is a priority at AHEAD,” said Ken Shwartz, President, AHEAD. “We are constantly talking to our customers about how we can make doing business with AHEAD easier. As more and more golf professionals use the internet to manage their golf shop operations, we feel it is imperative we provide the functions that are necessary for them to find the information fast and efficiently. Adding the order processing and receivable functions to our account information portal will give them all the necessary information at their fingertips.”
AHEAD launched the Account Information Portal two years ago and customer usage has tripled. AHEAD customers can get access to the Account Information Portal at the company website www.aheadweb.com. All current AHEAD customers have an account set up in the portal and to activate it requires only two clicks. For help with the Account Information Portal, customers can call customer service at 800.282.2246 or link to the help page on the website.
“We will continue to work closely with our customers on future enhancements to the portal that will make doing business with AHEAD easy,” said Shwartz.
AHEAD and Kate Lord Customers are being contacted through the month of December through email to enhance customer sign-up by explaining the benefits of the portal. Customers should check their emails with a subject that says “AHEAD Now Offering Electronic Shipping Notice” and sign up to take advantage of the new program.
