BALTIMORE, MD. – November 30, 2010 – STX Golf, world-renowned as an industry pioneer in putter innovation, and for its patented Soft Face Insert Technology, announced today that the company will be introducing their new line of STX Sync Series Putters at the 2011 PGA Merchandise Show and Demo Day in Orlando, Florida.
According to STX Director of Golf Steve Henneman, “STX is revealing five new STX Sync Series Putters this year and what better venue to present them than at the PGA Show? The event provides us an opportunity to have potential and existing retailers experience firsthand the benefits of these new models. To help with personal demonstrations or to answer any questions, the STX sales team will be at the booth and at the demo day.”
The ninth annual PGA Demo Day will be held on Wednesday, January 26th at the Orange County National Golf Center. STX will be prominently positioned on the large putting green during the entire demo day. The company welcomes all PGA Members, retailers, and members of the media to come by and putt with the new STX Sync Series.
“In addition to the new models, STX will present some of their most recent model expansions and modifications such as the STX ProFit 6 Putter. This interchangeable modern mallet is now available in belly and long lengths. Golfers will be impressed how well this model transitioned from standard length to long length. Another putter worth demonstrating is the highly popular STX 9740 and STX 9750 Putters. They now feature a new Total Eclipse insert which promotes better feel across the face of the putter,” added Henneman.
Within the Orange County Convention Center during the 2011 PGA Merchandise Show, the STX booth #501 is conveniently located in the Equipment Hall on the main aisle just two rows from the Equipment Testing Center. The company will be exhibiting from Thursday, January 27th to Saturday, January 29th. In addition to the STX Sales Team, the STX Executive Team, STX Media Team, and STX PGA Tour Representatives will be readily available. If an appointment is needed, please contact Vanessa Price at readthegreens@aol.com and she will gladly coordinate a meeting with any STX representative.
About STX:
STX is acknowledged as being the golf industry’s foremost authority on insert face technology. Over a quarter century ago, the company introduced the first patented soft face elastomer insert, creating the “softest legal face in golf.” In the mid-90s the company’s research and development team introduced the first USGA approved interchangeable face insert and removable weight system. Both these and other innovations have helped create the standards for putter design today.
