West Chicago, IL – The first shipment of new Infiniti Golf 452 Player’s Drivers has arrived and is ready for custom fitting. The classically shaped clubhead and high gloss black finish is a perfect fit for golf traditionalists while utilizing the latest in technological advances. The 452 may be small in stature, but is big on technology.
The Infiniti 452 Player’s Driver features a smaller, 440 cc clubhead to better suit the eye of a more conventional golfer. The concept behind the 452 was to specifically design a driver for better players with swing speeds upwards of 100 mph.
“Consistently, larger club manufactures cater to the average golfer who happen to have higher handicaps,” said Eric Yeh, president of Infiniti Golf. “We realized that a segment of the golf market was being bypassed. There was a demand and a need for a player’s driver, a club that is more classically shaped yet featuring the latest in technology. Our clubfitters have been waiting for a driver like the 452 Player’s Driver for quite some time.”
The 452 Player’s Driver cup face encompasses a 15-3-3-3 Beta Titanium and an undisclosed titanium blend in the crown and sole for superior roll. The face is square to open for players that want to fade or draw the ball. The Infiniti design team also incorporated two-three gram weighted medallions to increase the number of custom fit options. Also critical to the club’s performance is the shaft, numerous options are available to fit each individual swing.
Infiniti Golf gave a sneak peak of the new 452 Player’s Driver to attendees at the Association of Golf Clubfitting Professionals (AGCP) 5th annual Roundtable Educational Conference in early October. Following an extremely favorable review, the Infiniti sales team implemented a pre-booking order system with great success.
