ORLANDO, Fla. – Project Fairway hits the Fashion Gallery stage at January’s PGA Merchandise Show, featuring a fun, entertaining test of golf fashion skills where the 2010 AGM Front Nine award winners compete in a ‘best dressed’ mannequin contest.
Hosted by The Apparel Wire’s style editor, Janice Ferguson, an esteemed panel of judges including ‘Mr. Style,’ Marty Hackel, Golf Digest fashion director, and Lisa Goulian, PGA Magazine apparel editor, will determine ‘who’s in and who’s out’ of the competition.
There is also a surprise celebrity guest judge that you won’t want to miss.
“We have more than 10 apparel companies that didn’t hesitate providing outfits for this event,” said Ferguson. “We look forward to a high spirited, energy charged contest that will be a nice change of pace in the show, and fun for everyone to watch.”
Project Fairway contestants will battle for top prize in this inaugural ‘reality show’ that has a twist of Project Runway, mixed with a hint of Survivor and a dash of Dancing with the Stars. Additionally, the clothing will be donated to a local charity after the show.
Join the festivities on Thursday, January 27, 2011, from 1 – 2 p.m. on the Fashion Stage.
