Irvine, CA: Oak Creek Golf Club in partnership with presenting sponsor Pure Focus ™ will stage a two-day college golf prep camp Dec. 27th & Dec. 28th. Junior golfers along with their parents are continually looking for insights into how best to prepare a junior to continue their golf careers at the collegiate level. The objective of the camp is to provide participants and their families with an educated foundation of what it takes to accomplish the goal of playing college golf.
The camp is broken into three core areas:
Golf instruction and next-level capabilities evaluation
Behind-the-scenes look into college recruiting and the collegiate golf experience
Fitness training for competitive golfers
“We have built a two-day college prep camp that will provide attendees a clearer understanding of the college golf experience and the requisite level of golf and life skills necessary to excel at the next level,” said Eric Lohman, PGA Member & Oak Creek Golf Club Director of Golf. “In addition to presenting a deep look into college recruiting and the college golf experience, our assembled team of instructors and presenters will provide instruction and share fitness tips and mental preparation techniques.”
The college golf prep camp is open to aspiring junior high and high-school golfers and is limited to the first 16 registered participants. The fee to participate is $275.00 per participant.
