WATERLOO, IA – The VGM Group, Inc. announced today that it has acquired JKI Client Rewards, a Florida-based company that provides rebates and incentive programs on food purchases to restaurant chains.

JKI Client Rewards became part of VGM Club, a division of the Iowa-based VGM Group, effective December 17. The new division will be named VGM Client Rewards.

“We are pleased to welcome the restaurant chains participating in the JKI Client Rewards program to the VGM Club family,” VGM Club President D Jay Ellis said. “We are committed to not only providing these restaurants with the great programs they have benefited from in the past, but also offering them a wide array of other programs, contracts and incentive arrangements we have in place for our VGM Club members.”

VGM Club will continue to provide JKI customers the same rebate programs they have today plus access to other food and beverage contracts and special non-food supplier partner offers. VGM Club accesses many of its existing rebate programs through Foodbuy, a national group purchasing organization. JKI Client Rewards also was a partner with Foodbuy.

“Enhanced systems, a broader range of capabilities, and the addition of our strong member service team will help our clients maximize profits and maintain their competitive edge,” Ellis said.

James Albritton, one of two founding partners of JKI Client Rewards, will remain involved in day-to-day operations of VGM Client Rewards.

VGM Club, established in 1994, is the nation’s premier member service organization for the club industry. VGM Club has more than 450 supplier and distributor partners, who offer Club’s more than 3,000 members volume discounts, cash rebates and other incentives.

The VGM Group is a member service organization whose primary focus is providing buying alliances and business services to independent home medical equipment providers, orthotic & prosthetic practitioners, high-tech rehab providers and private clubs, including golf courses.

The company also provides financial services, insurance, legislative updates and regulatory assistance, technology consulting, managed care contracting, continuing education and web & graphic design to its more than 6,000 members across the United States and Canada.
