Phoenix, Arizona – Daphne’s Headcovers, the original headcover company, today announced another successful year ending in 2010 for the Phoenix, Arizona company.

Jane Spicer, president of Daphne’s Headcovers, explained, “Our company is pleased to report that sales continue to improve over the previous year. We are also proud to report enviable achievements as we keep up with our goals and support of our strong base of retail partners.”

The solid base of TOUR players carrying our headcovers in their bags remains in a growth pattern. New to Daphne’s family are Robert Garrigus, Matthew Goggin, Y.E Yang, Na Yeon Cho and Katherine Hull

The company’s commitment to “do good while doing well,” as advised by Spicer’s mother and company namesake Daphne reached deeper this year in support of worthy charities through sales of Daphne’s Headcovers. Support extends to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Susan L. Bader Foundation, Save a Koala Foundation, Ernie Els Foundation for Autism, Tony La Russa’sAnimal Rescue Foundation, Prader-Willi Syndrome Association, the Sojourner Center and Gabriel’s Angels among others.

Daphne’s “Talking Dog” headcover was voted best headcover of the year by readers of the Hacker’s Paradise website. Publisher Josh Babbitt said, “Very few companies stand behind their products like the people at Daphne’s do. It is a testament that in the end, quality will always reign supreme…well, that and the headcovers are just darn cute.”

This year, a Daphne’s Headcover Panda figured prominently in the storyline of network television’s popular series, CSI. Daphne’s will also be featured in an upcoming commercial for Miller Lite.

Jane Spicer and Daphne’s Headcovers was the subject for the cover photo and story about the company in a winter issue of Arizona the State of Golf magazine.

Spicer said, “This has been a year for growth, for reflection, for increased media awareness, and for helping our retail partners gain sales successes. We look forward to the challenges and successes of 2011.”
