Kikkor Golf will bring its new brand of “awesome” to the PGA Merchandise Show, January 27-29, in Orlando, FL. The fresh, one year old company will introduce its line of “comfortably different” golf shoes to retailers and distributors at Booth 3989. To add to their distinctive styles that don’t sacrifice performance, Kikkor will offer a 75% discount on all personal orders. To make things even more awesome, the company has free drinks for all visitors.
Kikkor products provide an alternative to the frumpy looking traditional golf footwear. Most golf shoe lines today continue to produce traditional saddle oxford-style shoes; whereas Kikkors provide an alternative for the emerging demographic of young golfers who want to look as stylish on the course as they do off. Their line ranges from retro runner and skate styles to dressier sneaker looks, all offered in many color combinations. With dozens of men’s golf shoes and a growing line of women’s shoes, Kikkor is sure to leave their footprint on the golf industry.
The concept of Kikkor came to professional golfer and University of Washington alumni James Lepp, not long after he won the 2005 NCAA Division 1 Individual Championship. While at Washington, Lepp majored in business with a focus in entrepreneurship, so he was always thinking of new business ideas. It was in 2008 when the concept of Kikkor started to become a reality.
The formal Kikkor Golf launch came last April through their website of Kikkor.com. Since then, more than 80 dealers in North America have stocked Kikkor products. Dealers and distributors attending the 2011 PGA Merchandise Show are encouraged to step up to the Kikkor Booth (3989) for a must-see display of awesome new products that are truly “comfortably different”.
