Experience the PGA Tour in a unique and exciting way inside the ropes
(January 3, 2011 – Coral Springs, FL) – Caddy For A Cure, Inc., the professional golf opportunity of a lifetime to caddie for a day for charity with PGA TOUR players, is offering its first experience of the 2011 season with two-time PGA TOUR winner, Charley Hoffman, at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
The 2011 Waste Management Phoenix Open will be held at the beautiful TPC Scottsdale Golf course in Phoenix, Arizonia. The tournament will be held from Monday, January 31st thru Sunday, February 6th, 2011. The caddy date for Hoffman will be on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 during the FBR/Xerox Pro am competition round.
Caddy For A Cure offers its caddy opportunities through online auctions with 100% of the proceeds going to charity. The auction for this experience with Charley Hoffman is presently live on eBay where interested participants can make bids in hopes of winning or buy it instantly at the Buy it Now price.
The auction winner spend the day with Charley and his Tour caddy on the driving range, putting green and golf course, experiencing each shot first-hand and being in the middle of the action of a professional golf event. They will walk shoulder to shoulder among the world’s best players as they prepare to compete in one of the PGA TOUR’s most exciting events.
Russ Holden, Caddy For A Cure founder and veteran PGA TOUR caddie commented, “It is such an honor to be able to offer this wonderful opportunity with Charley at this exciting venue. Every single player who is competing out there today is phenomenal, but being able to spend the day with a player like Charley who has two PGA TOUR wins is really cool.” Holden continued, “Charley has participated with us before and is a huge supporter of what we offer golf fans, especially since it is all for charity. The history of this event and its amazing fan base, combined with being in the middle of the field of players it draws, guarantees whoever wins this opportunity will have a day they will never forget.”
All caddy opportunities are offered through the Caddy For A Cure website (www.caddyforacure.com) and eBay linked auctions. Auction proceeds support the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, Birdies for the Brave, the PGA TOUR Caddy Assistance Fund, the host site and participating player’s charity of choice and are fully tax deductible as allowed by law.
