Celebrity entertainment and exclusive retail specials add excitement to nation’s largest outdoor golf festival
ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 13, 2011) – Golfweek’s Golfest, the nation’s largest outdoor golf lifestyle extravaganza and demo day, will kick off its annual event series Jan. 22-23 at ChampionsGate Golf Club in Orlando, Fla. Hosted by Golfweek and presented by Winn Grips, Golfweek’s Golfest Orlando not only allows attendees to try and buy golf’s latest and greatest equipment, but also features exciting Main Stage entertainment, including world-renowned golf instructor David Leadbetter.
“David is a legend in the world of golf instruction, and we couldn’t be happier that he is joining us again for this year’s event,” said Armand Cimaroli, Golfweek director of events. “Golfweek’s Golfest gives golfers the unique opportunity to try out the hottest equipment on the market, while also improving their game with the help of top professionals like David.”
In addition to Main Stage entertainment, Golfweek’s Golfest will feature exclusive on-site retail specials, the Par 3 Challenge, putting contests, free junior clinics and so much more.
Golfweek’s Golfest Orlando is open to the public and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults; children 16 and under are free. Advance tickets can be purchased at ChampionsGate Golf Club’s pro shop or the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.Golfest.com and at the gate during the event. Parking for Golfweek’s Golfest Orlando is free.
