TruTrac sensor mat to trigger Vector launch systems

AccuSport International, Inc. today announced an expanded partnership with TruGolf, the makers of E6 simulation software and the TruTrac tracking system. Under the agreement, the companies have integrated their club and ball data collection systems to provide users with a full course simulation experience utilizing measured ball spin. Additionally, TruGolf’s TruTrac system will act as a trigger to the Vector system, eliminating the need for an audible trigger.

AccuSport is the leading developer and marketer of golf swing launch monitors and its Vector Launch Systems are recognized throughout the golf industry for their accuracy, portability and affordability.

“We see a real merging of systems throughout the golf industry,” said Bill Brawley, Director of Business Development for AccuSport. “We currently interface to multiple third party systems and provide a variety of data. The expanded partnership with TruGolf really provides users with the best of all worlds, since it combines the measured club tracking through the TruGolf TruTrac sensor mat with the measured ball spin from the Vector launch systems,” said Brawley. “Additionally, the high definition E6 software is fantastic visually, which really provides a fulfilling indoor experience.”

The new system will be on display at Accusport’s booth # 1259 at next week’s PGA Merchandise Show. AccuSport will be running the system inside TruGolf’s innovative Newport simulator, the industry’s most compact and portable simulator. TruGolf’s TruTrac system has been physically wired into the Vector system, effectively making them one device for triggering and ball data collection.

“We’re delighted about the expanded partnership with AccuSport,” said Dave Ashby, VP of Sales for TruGolf. “AccuSport has licensed our software previously, but this new effort really ties things together and will provide users with a complete experience. We’re also excited to be displaying the Newport system and really believe the integration with the Vector systems will prove compelling to users in search of a simulation solution,” said Ashby.
