ORLANDO, Fla. (January 18, 2011) – Tatjana Chenoweth has been named Director of Development of the ANNIKA Foundation, Hall of Fame golfer Annika Sorenstam’s philanthropic organization. Chenoweth joins the Foundation with 17 years of nonprofit development experience, including fundraising leadership and operations expertise with a variety of organizations in the nonprofit world.
“As we enter our third year, Tatjana brings the Foundation a unique and important skill set that we need to take the Foundation to the next level,” said Annika. “Fundraising is so important to support and grow our mission – teaching kids the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle and offering aspiring junior golfers opportunities to pursue their dreams. Tatjana’s development experience will be invaluable to our Foundation as we strengthen our efforts to positively impact kids for years to come.”
As Director of Development, Chenoweth will be responsible for all Foundation development and fundraising activities with current and future donors, supporters, grant-making private foundations and corporations that share the passion of the Foundation’s mission.

Chenoweth most recently served as a Senior Major Gift Officer and Assistant Director at Rollins College, one of the top-ranked colleges in Florida. Prior to joining Rollins, she served as Director of Development for the YMCA of Cape Cod and Assistant Director of Donor Relations for the Baylor Healthcare Foundation.
Chenoweth earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas, and received her MBA from Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla. She serves the Orlando community as a board member of the Track Shack Foundation as well as serving on several professional associations supporting the non-profit profession.
