Southern Destination’s Golf Expo Stops include St. Louis, Chicago and Dallas
(GULF SHORES, ALABAMA) – The Gulf Shores Golf Association, a partnership of nine top-notch golf courses on Alabama’s Gulf Coast, is offering chances to win stay-and-play golf trips to all who visit the Golf Alabama booth at several industry expos in the next three months.
In addition, travelers who book trips to the Gulf Shores – either at the shows or online at www.golfgulfshores.com – will receive a free dozen Nike One Tour balls on the first day of their trip.
Golf Gulf Shores will be attending the following shows in conjunction with Golf Alabama during the next three months:
* St. Louis Golf Show, Jan. 21-23
* Tulsa Golf Show, Feb. 9-13
* Minnesota Golf Show, Feb, 18-20
* Indiana Golf Show in Indianapolis, Feb. 25-27
* Chicago Golf Show, Feb. 25-27
* Toronto Golf Show, March 4-6
* North Texas Golf Show in Dallas, March 18-20
“Our website (www.golfgulfshores.com) is loaded with information and it enables free quotes for customized stay-and-play packages, but there’s nothing like meeting golfers and being able to answer their questions about Gulf Shores in person,” says Duncan Millar, Golf Gulf Shores Executive Director. “And at the same time these golf show visitors will get the chance to win some valuable prizes.”
To be entered in the Stay-and-Play Package Giveaway Contest for a two-night golf trip for four, golfers need only submit their contact information at the Golf Alabama booth at any of the above shows. At the completion of all of the golf shows in March, one winner will be randomly chosen.
Also available at the show will be coupons for a free dozen Nike One Tour golf balls. The coupons can be redeemed for the balls at check-in when a golfer books a minimum two-night trip to the Gulf Shores for travel before May 9, 2011. Only the first 500 coupons turned in will be redeemed.
To add to the fun, the Nike “Head to Toe” promotion is still available to those who book a minimum two-night vacation by Feb. 28, 2011 for arrival between March 1and May 8, 2011. The winner will be selected by random drawing on March 4, 2011 from all qualifying golf packages. The $3,800-valued prize – which includes a full set of Nike clubs, a Tour golf bag with embroidered name, a pair of Air Zoom shoes, balls, golf shorts, a belt, socks, a hat and glove – will be awarded upon arrival in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach for the booked golf vacation.
